We had a great turn out for our Fall Concert! Everyone wore their ugliest sweater and helped us get into the holiday spirit! We are excited for what the next semester will hold!

 

Our Fall Concert is tomorrow! We have a great set lined-up and we cannot wait to share what we have been working on. There will be an ugly Christmas sweater contest and we will be awarding the ugliest one with a prize! We will have some guest performances and a social media competition!

The concert will be in Leigh Hall Auditorium at 8pm on December 2. It is Free and fun for the whole family!

Help us welcoming our five newest Kangas: Claire, Veronica, Kassie, Emily, and Ali!

After a long day of call backs, we are excited to a have accepted five new members! We are excited to see where Kanga Blue takes them and cannot wait to start singing together!

AUDITIONS

THANK YOU!

We had an absolutely great concert on April 22. Around 300 people showed up and the audience was great. We performed 14 songs including a collaboration with Nuance. What's Next?

We have already picked a good list of songs to start arranging over the summer. Be on the look out for some emotional ballads as well as a fun medley! We can't wait. Over the summer, we will be performing at the Soap Box Derby Opening Ceremonies Monday, July 11 at 12:00 in Downtown Akron. We will be also be singing at the main event on Saturday, July 16 at 8:30am at Derby Downs. Come check us out!

KANGA BLUE SPRING CONCERT!

Come check out what we have been working on this semester on  
April 22 in Leigh Hall Auditorium. 
Doors open at 6:30pm and the concert will begin at 7:00.

This year we will be having a "Blue-Out!" which means we want to see everyone in our signature blue color! The most spirited will win a prize!

Surprises & upcoming shows

We have THREE awesome surprises to be revealed at our Fall concert in 6 weeks.  It will be a whole different show, and we can't wait to show you what we've been preparing this semester.  Soon we'll finish learning a medley and start on a couple of Christmas songs, in addition to Heidi's senior song and a novelty Disney number exclusive to our concert.

If you can't wait until December to hear us, you should come to AcapaROOza on November 16th in the Student Union Ballrooms from 2 to 5pm, where we will perform in a cappella festival featuring all of the following groups:

     The Kent Clarks (Kent State University)

     Buck That! (The Ohio State University)

     Scarlet and Grace Notes (The Ohio State University)

     Ten40 (Bowling Green State University)

     Kanga Blue (The University of Akron)

     nUAnce (The University of Akron)

     & Rhythm & Roos (The University of Akron), host of the event 

In addition to the performances, we will also be raising money for the Ronald McDonald House of Akron.
